Meet Buddy

Buddy is in need of a permanent foster. He does have some health challenges, but is also one of the most sweet, loving and happy dogs. He gets attached very easily and everyone that meets him falls in love. As a permanent foster, you would care for Buddy as if he were your own for the rest of his life. PRVT would cover all medical expenses, supplies and any costs associated with his care.
The good: Buddy is a 14-year old apricot toy poodle with an incredible zest for life! He enjoys going for walks, car rides, and has quite the spring in his step for an older gentleman. He also loves people and will follow his person around and then jump up to snuggle on the couch or in bed. Buddy gets along well with other dogs as long as they are not extremely hyper and in his face.
The bad: Buddy has been diagnosed with Stage 3 renal disease and will likely need subcutaneous fluids given to him at home for the rest of his life. In addition, he has epilepsy, which is managed with two pills daily. Buddy also has separation anxiety and needs to be with someone who is home more often than not.
If you think you might be able to help please reach out. If not, please share so that we can find the perfect retirement home for our little Buddy!
If you would like to add Buddy to your family, please fill out an adoption application here!
